We exist to follow the teaching of the scriptures in reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. This is known as the Great Commission of Jesus (Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46, 47). Amassing crowds, constructing buildings and even bringing the lost to "a decision" fall short of this purpose, unless believers mature and become obedient in everyday life to God's will as revealed through the Bible. To reach our goal of living as a biblical community, we function together as one body (Romans 12; Acts 2:40-47; I Corinthians 12:13-27), working as a family in love and service.

Crossroads is in a multicultural, multi-generational area and we believe in working together and celebrating our differences. Crossroads Community Cathedral is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, and is committed to serving the communities of Greater Hartford, Connecticut, as well as providing support to ministries worldwide.
